Xbox360 Elite Announced

As previously posted, Xbox360 is launching an 'improved' version of its console. It's called Xbox360 Elite. As expected, the Elite version will offer bigger hard drive and HDMI connection built-in. There is no change of drive to be HD-DVD.

The Xbox360 Elite will be available in the US on 29th of April. It will retail at US$479.99. There are no announced details for Australia yet but it will be expected to sell around winter.

As a summary, the new features are:
- 120 GB hard drive
- HDMI connection built-in
- Black finish - console
- Black wireless controller
- Black headset

Microsoft will also line up accessories with a black finish to match with the new console.
